Why We Built It

Nobody shipping a real product should start from a blank canvas.

The Problem

Free Figma kits look great in the preview and fall apart the moment they meet a real project. Paid UI packs are bloated, outdated, or built for a design system nobody uses. Business templates are generic boilerplate with a $29 price tag. So founders and freelancers either rebuild the same hero section on every project, or ship with ugly defaults.

Who It Is For
  • Indie developers and startup founders who can build, but can't design every screen from scratch in the time they have
  • Freelance designers working across several clients at once, who need components and client documents that don't need rebuilding every engagement
  • Solo founders shipping their first SaaS without a design team
Why Us

At Elysium, every client engagement starts from scratch, because that's what premium work demands. Working at that level gave us a clear view of everyone it doesn't reach: capable people shipping real products with nowhere good to get design assets. DropHaus holds every asset to the same question we ask on client work - would we use this in a real project?

Product Breakdown

Six parts, one standard: is this genuinely useful to someone shipping something real?

UI Components

Hero sections, pricing tables, sign-in screens and 404 pages, each one a click away from Figma with Copy for Figma. Built for Figma and Tailwind CSS with consistent spacing and proper auto-layout, so there's no cleanup sprint before they're useful. Some are free, some are Pro, and new ones land in small drops rather than a weekly flood.

Templates

Full-page layouts built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS - SaaS, portfolio, e-commerce and real estate. Typography, spacing, dark mode and responsive behavior are already set. Clone it, make it yours, ship.

Icons

89,213 icons from 50+ open-source libraries - Lucide, Tabler, Heroicons, Radix, Remix and more - in one searchable grid, filtered by use case. Set stroke and size, then copy as SVG, PNG, React, TypeScript or a CDN link.

Gradients

341 handcrafted backgrounds - mesh, grain, glass and linear - grouped into named collections, and exported as CSS, Tailwind or SVG.

Design Resources

The business half of design work. Invoice templates are live now, and the library is structured for briefs, proposals, contracts, statements of work, pricing sheets, UX audit checklists, prompt libraries, case study templates and pitch decks.

Free Tools

11 browser-based tools with no installs and no sign-ups: color palettes, Tailwind colors, a palette extractor, gradient mixer, color converter, WCAG contrast checker, background remover, image compressor, upscaler, converter and favicon generator. Image tools process files locally - the background remover runs entirely in the browser, so nothing is uploaded.

How We Built It

Designed and engineered by the team that builds for our clients.

Process

DropHaus started from a pattern we kept seeing on client projects: the same sections, invoices and palettes being rebuilt from zero, by everyone, every time. We built it as a commercial product from day one - accounts, Free and Pro tiers, payments - and every asset is reviewed before it ships, in small, considered drops.

Stack
  • Frontend - Next.js, deployed on Vercel
  • Assets - designed in Figma, built for Tailwind CSS
  • Accounts - Google or email sign-in, with Free and Pro tiers
  • Tools - client-side image processing, so files never leave the browser
Hard Calls
  • Curation over volume. Fewer assets means slower catalogue growth, but every asset has to earn its place - which is the whole point of the product
  • A lifetime plan alongside monthly. $39 a month, or $399 once for everything, including every future drop - because the people we built this for hate another subscription
  • Light and dark from day one. Every screen ships in both themes, like the components themselves
  • Free tools with no sign-up wall. The tools stay open to everyone, whether or not they ever buy Pro
What's Next

Where DropHaus goes from here.

Roadmap
  • More component categories - feature grids, testimonials, FAQs, CTAs and footers
  • The rest of the resource library - briefs, proposals, contracts, SOWs and pitch decks
  • More full templates, released on the same terms: only when they're ready
What We Learned

Curation is the product. Anyone can ship a library of ten thousand assets; the value is in the ones we leave out. It's the same discipline we bring to client work - the hardest design decisions are usually about what not to build.
